SUMMIT

SUMMIT is the Summer Mission Trip of the First & Calvary College Ministry (which is us, and is usually referred to as FnC).

Last year, we travelled to New Orleans, Louisiana, for a week and a half service trip consisting largely of building houses and helping people continue to recover from Hurricane Katrina. We had a fantastic trip with 18 total participants (16 students plus Brian and Courtney) and were able to accomplish a great deal of work as well as get a chance to tour the devastated areas of the city and visit Bourbon Street.

In years past we have sponsored trips to Israel/Palestine and Nicaragua, as well as trips to continental areas of need.
Information about SUMMIT is initially made available toward the end of the Fall semester so that any interested students are able to discuss the trip and their plans with their family.
There is an application process, pre-trip meetings for preparation and study, and help with fundraising available should the trip require it.

We regret that we will not be able to offer SUMMIT in 2009,
 but look to continuing the program in the Summer of 2010.
